Coimbatore, also known as Kovai and Koyamuthur, is a major city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the banks of the Noyyal River and surrounded by the Western Ghats. Coimbatore is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu and the 16th largest urban agglomeration in India. It is administered by the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation and is the administrative capital of Coimbatore district. Coimbatore has best in class hospitals like KMCH, Ramakrishna, GKNM, Ganga Hospital. All major cities in South are in reach of 5–8 hours like Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin and Mysore.

How to reach Coimbatore

By Flight:
Coimbatore airport is an international airport allowing for both domestic and international flights to Coimbatore. The airport is located 15 km from the heart of the city. Regular international flights include those from Sharjah and Singapore. From the airport, cabs are available for hire to reach other parts of the city.

By Train:
The visitors who are new to the place may have doubts about how to reach Coimbatore by train. Marudhamalai Hill Temple

Marudhamalai (temple) Marudhachalamurthy (Lord Muruga) Temple, Marudamalai is a popular 12th century hill temple build by Tamil kings during sangam period as shown in purananuru and dedicated to Lord Murugan, situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It is considered as the Seventh House of Lord Murugan. Marudhamalai abounds in medicinal herbs and the pure air and serene atmosphere should make it a haven for the health-conscious. The hill is dotted with small mandapams for the devotees to relax on their way uphill.

Siruvani Falls and Dam

Siruvani Waterfalls and the dam named after them are located 36 km (22 mi) west of Coimbatore in the Western Ghats. … Water from Siruvani River is renowned for its taste and mineral properties and Siruvani is 2nd tastiest water in the World . The view from the falls and the dam is a tourist attraction.

Vaidehi falls

Vaidehi falls is a waterfall situated in the outskirts of Coimbatore city about 35 km (22 mi) from Coimbatore. The nearest village is Narasipuram. This waterfall used to be called “Tholayira Murthi Kandi”, in Tamil Tholayiram stands for the number nine hundred, word Murthy has several interpretations
